That TZ is from Tim Hanian - he has an amazing gameroom and collection of basically just HUO machines. His gameroom is posted on John Warts website - have a look....
Exactly and coupled with the fact that it's one of the most desirable pins ever produced doesn't surprise me that it's going to sell for a good price. There are a lot of really nice Twilight Zones around, but quite a few less up to that condition, and the mods don't hurt either.
I wouldn't go nuts over mods. No single mod is a licensed or limited product and all have been made available in many forms, some good quality mods, some not so good. As for the third magnet, personally would not do it. It wasn't original for the run of this particular machine.
Third magnet (rarely ever witnessed in gameplay, hence pulled from production) Gumball lights (available) Piano (available) Robbie (available, wired or unwired) and door flashers (available)
Not mentioned.
Rocket Mod Gumballs in the gumball machine Slot Machine waterjet cut power pf lamp etc. etc.
Mods are mods. They don't add any real value to a machine. Best case is you can recover what you paid for them if someone happens to like them.
I'm happy with the 3rd Magent Mod, I see it quite often, espically during long nights of playing when the machine is left on. All you have to do is locate the power ball. Once that is done the effect happens quite a bit.
Auction has been cancelled, I guess he got a great offer. Top bid was $6177 when he cancelled the auction.
Yep. Probably one of those "How much to buy it straight out?" questions.
We might think there is a limit to what someone would pay, but there are lots people in this world that have so much dough that a crazy number could have been thrown at it.
