I just received my new LED display set for Mousin' Around from Rottendog Amusements ( http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rottendog/). I'm planning on putting this machine up for sale in the near future and wanted the displays to be perfect for the new owner, so rather than spending $65 per display for new glass and going to the trouble of installing it, I spent the extra few bucks and opted for the LED's instead. Jim at Rottendog even gave me a discount for being the first official customer of this new product, so the actual cost difference wound up being about $10. Anyway, these displays are truly amazing. They're a fantastic alternative to the traditional glass tubes and will probably out-live all of us. No high voltage is required, so I removed the HV fuse from the power supply for the heck of it (even though the HV section was very recently rebuilt by Mindstorm88 ). Anyway, two big thumbs up for this item. I'm continuing to pester Jim to produce LED display sets for other machines and he says he's working on it. He also says his displays will be the lowest cost LED alternative on the market; what he currently has available is about $50+ cheaper than PinLED's. Can't wait to pick up a set for Space Station, if they ever become available. I'll post some pics soon. Corey |

Bruno: I won't be tossing the old displays. Fear not.
Here's a pic of the old displays. They look better in the photo than in reality:

And the new....
I think they look great. When unlit, the digits show a bit more than they do with glass tubes, but it doesn't bother me.

Rottendog makes great stuff and Jim is great to deal with,we talked to him at KALAMAZOO.Displays look great, nice find.TSLAMA is running his LED board in the TZ clock and I used his power supply in JOKER POKER.He makes a rock solid board and stands behind them %100.Your MOUSIN AROUND was great the way it was but who doesn't like icing on there cake. |

Totally, thumbs up, I just dropped in their Twilight Zone clock board last week. Also made for a great reason to clean the "spiral" |
