I had 1 "bank" of GI lights not working (under right ramp) after Websherpa (AKA Da Man!) fixed my power board for me.
I troubleshot this today and found 2 orange wires not connected, but looks like they were once soldered to each other. connected them and VOLLA! the GI lights in question now work.
I do not feel 100% about this for the following reason. if you look at the pic you will see that BOTH of these orange wires run back down the "bundle" of wires. To me this seems like they were to both be coming form the bundle and going to 2 different places. it just makes no sense for these wires to just "loop" like this in the loom (or does it..me?=noob)
here is the pic... you can see where I connected the wires. both the wires run back into the bundle to the "left"

These two orange daisy-chain wires were soldered together somewhere - perhaps at a bulb socket close-by, to light-up one more bulb.

aah, that makes sense? so "if" that was the case..then the way the wires are now is ok...right?

Well yes.. sort of.. It means you have a circuit or bulb not powered (probably those pop bumpers you were talking about).
They should go to the same circuit but opposite end of where the orange/white wires go.

ok, they both (orange and white wires) go to a bulb terminal (same one) see pic...
this does not seem right? the solder looks "fresher" than the rest at this connection as well..

Follow the lead pointed by your red arrow (orange/white wire). There is a wire connected to one side of the pop-bumper lamp socket, going under the pop-bumper bracket. This is what medvet was indicating.
Now, look at the small black circle I have added at the bulb socket in the pic. Follow that wire. Is it connected to the other side of the pop-bumper lamp socket, with nothing else connected at either end ? If so, your orange wire pair goes there. If not, then we need another pic to try to help !
Again, the manual and schematics would help here. You should get it, worth the investment if you don't have it already, many answers are in there.

Thanks for all the help. I do have the wiring schematics but I did a quick surf of it and could not find any reference to a pop bumper.
I have taken yet another picture which includes the wires and the metal strips from the pop bumpers (2).
The red arrow is where the 2 Orange wires I connected to get a bank of GI lights working in the previous pictures. (they are connected out of the pic)
The metal leads form the pop bumpers seem to be "daisy chained" (correct term?) to the yellow wires form the G.I. bulb (see pic)
I think my next step may be as per ME's advice and connect tho orange wires to the metal leads form the pop bumper. I just do not know where, or if I have do disconnect any of the yellow wires if I do so...or if the 2 orange/white wires should be going to the same bulb terminal....this is why I am posting here for some clarification.
Yet another question...why would BOTH orange and white wires be going to the same bulb terminal...does not seem right to me. Thanks for all the help guys.

Both orange leads go to the tab indicated in the black circle by Sylvain.

Right on Mike. Is this how your DM looks (2 orange/white on one side of that bulb terminal and 2 orange on the other side)?
or can you just read wiring schematics better than me,

Yes indeed, as indicated by MrMikeman (and also hinted by medvet). Basically the lamps are connected in parallel for the GI circuit, including the two pop-bumpers here.
You need to connect the two orange wires to the other side of the GI bulb, as indicated by my circle in the picture.

The manual probably has a diagram for the GI and wire colors.

(2 orange/white on one side of that bulb terminal and 2 orange on the other side)?
Yes. This is basic electricity 101 to supply power to three bulbs in parallel: The two orange/white feed one side of the three bulbs. The other two orange wires feed the other side of the three bulbs.
Whew, hopefully now this is clear !
It is a good thing that MAACA pays us big bucks to help people with technical issues (just kidding ! This is our love of the hobby transpiring here, and wanting to help others, during our limited spare/volunteer time).
Please connect the wire to the place where MrMikeman and I have indicated, then tell us the results.
Cheers, - Sylvain.
