Being fairly new to the hobby I am a bit puzzled by the references that are often made to the pin. I checked it out online and cannot find anything wrong with it! I do realize that the art on it is from the 80's but the machine looks fun to play. So why so many bad comments?
Can you explain to me the reason behind all the joking on this pin. Truthfully I am not in the buying market now but as soon as I am if anyone don't want theirs I am a taker!!! If you happen to know the fair market value of that pin please post it.
No matter what you think the 80's were great............
Current Pins Current Arcade ------------------------------------------------------ DM Home Made "Baby" M.A.M.E. EFTLW Vision 33" JAMMA Machine TFTC MK 1,2,U3,4. JM SFA2. Golden Tee "99" Killer Instinct 1&2 1 Slot Neo Geo/5 or 6 games (In a box somewhere) 108 in 1 Neo Geo cratrige
I think it looks like fun too but have only played the visual pinball version. I really like the goofy 80's Miami Vice look with that ridiculous translite. So bad it's good.
http://www.pinballowners.com/ottogd Pins: Congo - High Speed - Cue Ball Wizard - Spirit - Eye of the Tiger - Quintette - Spectrum - Guys Dolls - Catacomb - Road Kings - Police Force - Cyclone - TX-Sector Vids: Asteroids - Centipede - Galaga - Joust - Ms Pacman - Super Sprint - Atari Cocktail (60-in-1) - Vectrex EM shooter: Midway Gang Busters EM Pitch & Bat: Upper Deck Slot: IGT 'M' Progressive ('86)
Of course every era is great but what I meant to say is that I had a great time in the 80's and guess what? While in it the fashion was not that bad. Go back to the 70's and yes I went through that one as a kid and it was bold in colors....to say the least.
I still think the Hollywood heat machine looks good and I would buy one. Don't compare to today's machine just appreciate for what it is a good example of the 80's................

gmaranda is it fair to assume you have a big poofy hairstyle which is long in the back and you are wearing Jordache jeans? Of course the jeans must have an emphasized faded area in the crotch.
Why dont you get into your Trans Am and rocket on down to Miami where the coke scene is really hoppin'. Make sure you dont forget that Flock of Seagulls cassette.
From a nostaglic point of view the 80's is great. Fashion and style were ridiculous in terms of nothing classic coming out of it. Including Premier pins!

Damn, my secret identity is out! However, I am not nostalgic of the 80's I am simply stating that I liked it and I don't find it ugly one bit. As far as nothing classic coming out of it is your opinion, I guess you preferred your butt ugly colors of what you were wearing as a kid...... in the 70's! And by the way I did not have the Trans Am but the Special Edition Firebird with driving gloves and sunglasses but no puffy hair and long hair in the back it was crimping my driving style.
Is it safe to assume you were a mama's boy currently still a virgin and your only pleasure is rubbing your pinball while gently ......... yourself?

90% of the references to Hollywood Heat on this board i think refer to a single machine.
I *think* websherpa or another more eastern member had it, and lost money selling it to Terry (B1) who lost a little money selling it to me after letting it sit for years in his basement.... so i in turn lost money selling it to Gerald (GJD) who i think has it in his workshop as a reminded to never trust me or any other maaca member ever again.
Its a not minty condition game that probably needs minor work to be a player (Terry ASSURED me that it was probably just a fuse) but nobody ever does the work. I had a crazy electrician come by the house helping me with some arcade stuff, who used to work on routed machines, he figured it would be an easy fic, but i never got him to do it... I just passed it along the chain of sorrow.
If you are looking for a project machine and LOVE the 80's talk to GJD!

Well, I dunno if Wbradley is a virgin per se... his kids do resemble him, but i've only met the one of them.... and perhaps it was his brothers kid.....

just posted it.. Don't worry axe, I trust you, and others. It is with great sadness that i put it up for sale, although i wanted to keep it as the pinnacle of my collection, alas there are more worthy people than i who deserve this piece of "art". Seriously, im clearing out some stuff to make room for more stuff ( coming soon)

You got me pinned on everything except the virgin part. As far as the rubbing, dont worry, I put Purell on the flipper buttons and lockdown bar afterward. Oh, and who knows her son better that a mother?????
