Hope I have this in the correct area, if not mods please move. After a member gave me the heads up on new rebuilt cabinets I decided to put my services out there. Being a cabinetmaker of some 20+ years I can make any type of cabinet there is. Whether you need a pin cab, cocktail or upright, I can do it. For example a bare bones pin cab ( head and body ) no paint , just primed...will run about $300-400. I am in the process of planning a cocktail cabinet for myself that would be suitable for any livingroom. Solid walnut , with the control panels hidden and on a swingout system for playtime. See my Totem thread for b4 and afters...

How about repairs/strengthening to the backbox or cabinet?
Absolutely! Not only can I make new items but repairs are most welcome. I can either charge by the hour or by the whole job or even work on trade...Whether its a strengthening , patch up or even a custom idea you have that you want brought to life. Hey my ultimate goal is to build a custom pin of my own design....

Well, it is true... I do get a lot of requests to fix cabinets in the TO area. I will send the requests your way when I get them. Lots of classic cabs out there that need a bit of TLC... Also a lot of cases of shipped machines that end up damaged and need some attention.

since i wanna re-stencil my playboy, why not do it on a brand new cab.
questions, do you pre-drill holes for the legs, speaker, ball shooter..... etc
and inside the cab, everything (wood) that hold the playfield.

Yes! What I would do and what I did on Totem, I measured all existing holes etc.. pre dirlled , holes, routed the funky shaped hole for the shooter, installed Tee nuts for legs and backbox, holes for speaker(s), power switch etc, the sides were maple plywood ( 3/4 inch) and for the bottom I used 1/2 inch plywood instead of the 1/4 inch as was on the origional, placed 3/4 inch cross supports for the power supply and wires. I can either lave the wood bare yet sanded or I can prime it. If your doing your own paint then I would need to know what type of paint you are using if I were to prime it.
