Hey all, I have been toying with the idea of getting a programable LED sign and using it in conjunction with a 'sportsticker program' of some sort. Does any member here have something like that set up? I do know that there are subscription sites that will gladly charge a monthly subscription but I was wondering if anyone has one set up straming of the internet for free. Just thought it would be cool hanging in the bar area especially during NHL or NFL season. I look forward to any input. Cheers.
Buy a cheap TV and tune it to TSN. Easier and you'll even get highlights/replays..

Really easy actually, you can use different LED Signs, and hook them up to a serial port on an old computer, right now mine streams the CNN Top Stories RSS feed, and i have it set to auto-update every hour.
I'm sure if you browse around the interwebs you could find a program that could stream sports scores, or you could just use the CNN Sports Feed.
