well after getting focked over again from a member i think i am done with collecting.  will be selling off most of my machines in the coming future.  
  will not sell the crap i got off other member who describe machine as 100% working and in excellent looking shape.  far from it and i have been given nothing in the end that help the situation.  just words and now kind of nastyness.

  this more then sucks.  i traded off a killer machine that was worth more then what i got.  but i wanted the machine due to i really like the theme and knew i would love the machine.

  but in the end i ended up with a big paper weight.
  i have brought in over 200 pins now in my little time collecting.   have done loads of good and great deals.  but i can't take the b.s. anymore.  

   don't know if its worth dropping my collecting due to this bad deal and bad seller/flipper/collector.  but at the moment i feel its best.   i have over packed my shops so others could enjoy pinball.  usally my machines are on and on free play.  went out my way driving for others and myself to enjoy pinball.

  i do all i can and build up the industry to others.  telling them pinball is still alive.

  but in my heart at the moment it is dead.

If it's that machine I was looking at a few weeks ago, it can be repaired.  You have local guys here who can help you out.  All you need to do is ask.

It's not.  Don't let one bad deal cause you to get rid of everything.  You'll regret it later.

Of course, if the seller has not fulfilled their end of the deal, then you should post more details so the Maaca community can be aware of situation and help avoid future bad deals.  After all, isnt this supposed to be a friendly community of hobbyists, traders and dealers?

Absolutely, the community is based on trust. There are a pile of guys that I would buy things from sight unseen just based on the relationships we have formed from this hobby.

That being said, there are others I wouldn't buy from at all for the same reason.

Yeah but ,Can you tell me who?? (or at least PM me) so at least I'll know.

No! One bad deal is a bad reason to get out of any hobby. Especially when you have others in the hobby who are willing to help you.

Besides, I was rather time constrained when I came out there, so I couldn't stick around and play. I totally intend on coming out there again when I get a new bike to at least meet up with you again, I felt bad taking off so quickly.
Won't have as big a reason to come all the way out there if you get rid of everything!

I could, but I don't want to step on Gory's toes.  It's his story, afterall.  I'm sure the name will eventually come out if the seller doesn't make good on the deal.

Sounds like ths has nothing to do with the hobby and everything to do with an individual.

What's the point of these posts if you aren't gonna tell the whole story and name names?  Don't buy from whoever screwed gory.  That doesn't help me one bit.  I know from the few pins I've seen that I would never buy from jvegas.  Not that he's active anymore and I'm sure not every one of his sales are screwjobs but he obviously got in too deep and unloaded crap onto unsuspecting people.
