Thanks, Lance |

By the time you get a NIC and the router you won't be far off the $100 mark...

I was thinking more of $25.00 and then some shipping on top. < $50 bucks. I just checked and I don't even have a ISA slot on my new board, So I am SOL. This is a major hindsight on the programmers part. Wouldn't of taken much more to code to sent to a address instead of a hard coded nic card. |

Oh RIGHT! You're running Nucore... You'll just have to wait a little longer for Chuck and Don to finish the next release, as that should have the added NIC support. (they have been working on it for the past few months) The nice thing about it is you won't require the router with the custom DDWRT flash either, and the upgrade will be free! The OEM system was only coded for one NIC because they implemented tourney play at the last minute, which wasn't long before they pulled the plug on the pinball division. D |

Yes I will not pay $100 US to get high scores.
Hmmm. It will cost you more than that for the plane ticket to use my RFM to do that.
You'll just have to wait a little longer for Chuck and Don to finish the next release, as that should have the added NIC support.
Hopefully they will fix the code problem with packet life that necessitates the rediculous router fix. |

What OS do these things run? Wouldn't it just be easier to edit the entry in the driver for any network card, to match the name of this device? For example, in Windows you can just find the hardware Vendor and Dev substring in the device properties and find it in the INF file and edit the name of the device. Unix based systems, similar approach... Of course if this thing looks outside the HAL for the hardware directly on the bus, then you're just SOL. |

Nucore is run under UBUNTU but the RFM/SWE1 software are hard coded to use a certain nic card and the driver is included in the roms |
