A fraud? Wow....reason why I am not posting it for sale here is because 99% of people here are into recent games except for 2-3 guys...I have 27 machines that are NOT FOR SALE whatsoever....just wanted to make a good enough profit to get myself a recent machine but I should have just waited 5 years thats my mistake. Of course NOBODY here wants to make a profit....you guys are ALL about losing money.
A fraud is when you dont have a machine or when you lie.....couldnt get a frigging picture of the backglass because my friend didnt show up...I HAVE BACK PROBLEMS...new pictures are up on ebay right now.....tanks a lot for the f*** you...I REALLY REALLY DESERVE ALL THIS....I AM A VERY BAD GUY AND A THIEF WITH NO HEART.
Actually, although you seem in all respects like a good guy (how they heck else did you get 27 pinball machines), but sorry, technically by stealing and using pictures from another source and passing them off as your own you are committing fraud and copyright infringement and both eBay and the owner of the original images could have issues with that, and certainly the buyers should be made aware. The RPG clan are razzing you because you are asking so much for a repainted body, which devalues the piece (for collectors at least) significantly. So, you made a mistake, a stupid one, but it was just a mistake. It's just that people here have been through it all, so they tend to come down hard (not as hard as RPG mind you, at least you got some good advice here and I can see you took it and changed the pictures). But now we know the latest pics don't show the painted over body. I like this statement "WAS REPAINTED OVER BUT ORIGINAL PAINT (GOOD CONDITION) CAN BE SAVED BY USING GOOF OFF TO REMOVE THIS PAINT" If anything, you should thank everyone and get the goof off and start cleaning. Pinball honesty is correcting the imperfection and then just not saying anything about the "way it was". |

I feel like Michael Corleone from the Godfather... just when I think I am out, they pull me back in. Clomizac has asked to have his account removed. It has been done. Me, on the otherhand, I seem to have sold my soul to JD and I cannot leave unless he sells me. ...I swear this hobby will kill me. Well, at least I have a coffin with a backglass... |

Hear the story about the joust...shows how people can be......
About the 2800$ twilight zone.....who are you to decide that my EK is not worth 2000$ because its repainted?...who the heck are you to judge?
The reason why I listed it 2000$ was to see if there was interest....if there isnt I will list it at 1300$ and then 1000$....just wanted to gauge.....its hard to know how much to sell a machine that rare.
Plus the paint underneat is visible and the blue and yellow is almost new so yes it is removable or repaintable in the worse case.
Who knows maybe there is only 25 of those left.....its not worth 2000$????....why not because YOU decided so?.....let buyers decided for themselves.
Actually, I've seen at least 2 other EK sell in Canada in the last year. Had a shot at one myself, not nearly as nice a playfield as yours looks to be though. |

We'll paint the sides of the coffin -- how's blue and yellow sound? -- if you like. Will nicely commemorate the day you left and were dragged back kicking and screaming Duane |

wow. just finished reading all this. been kind of away and busy. but man. wow.... glad i didn't post about buying my first pin (dr.who) for only $350can. then keeping it for a week and hating it. sold it to a member (i wasn't a member at the time) for around triple the price and a trade as well. then there was the fireball classic i got for $200 from a man that had it outside. kept it for a year or so. then turned around and sold it for over $1k. i think i told all the buyer how much i paid. i have no problem doing that. if a machine is worth the price i am selling it at then there shouldn't be a problem. haven't really ran across any expesive pins for that cheap again. but if i did, i would do the same if i was going to sell it. sorry to hear another new member has ran away from the group. glad to hear sparky is now a hostage on the board. |
