Hi all,

I just received a weird PM from a new user 'ngwa' here. Apparently based in BC, Canada.

In answer to one question I had, this is what he replied:
'hello thanks, my name is ngwa,international business person.we import pinball machines from japan and germany,
part out and sell used ones.'

I see red flags all over this.
Anyone has more info ?


Update:
Incidentally, here's their first PM below. Above was their 2nd PM answering my question.

'are you still looking for the machines, i am in vancouver.if yes, tell us the machine types and versions.'


I think I am still looking for a machine type W version 1.07

"international business person" is the code word for "Scam Artist".

If he sends another PM of the sort to another member, please advise us. I rather not have any spammers registered.

I didn't have my "board settings" set to hide email - and got an email directly from this new "member".   It was nothing too scary - just saying they had an EK playfield - and I replied.   Then asked if I wanted a backglass, too.   Not too sure, and I'm for sure cautious at this point.

Definately a scammer.   I just got offered the playfield and backglass - with stolen photos of this guys gameroom:

Seems our friend ngwa registered from Canada but claimed to be in Cameroon. He tried to reel in a couple of members in fake sales. Not gonna happen.
