THANK YOU, Oh thank you for bringing this one to the show.  I got to do something I haven't been able to do in years, not just playing it, but rolling it over at 9,999,999 - DOH.  I still remember the good ol' days when I did this at the local ice cream parlour/ restaurant, and the chinese owner yelling (forgive the stereotypical engRish), "O.K., You no pRay no more, you take-a too Rong!!!".
Your restoration was immpecable: the playfield was spotless, the flippers were strong, the ramps were not cracked, the lizard was aglow with no cracks, even the tongue was shining!
Thanks again,

Sean "DOH" O'Neill

Ok, got around to looking into my GL and its multiple personalities...shooting out an extra ball. I popped into the Show Sunday to find my GL spitting a second ball just as the first ball leaves the shooter lane. I had about 15 minutes to dig around under there, thinking it was a switch, I pried this and that, and back etc. Great fixed it that time...oh, damn, there it is again. And I had to go.

Know what it was? The tip of the ball eject arm was stopping the second ball from falling into ball trough 1, and by the time the ball would finally make it over there, it shoots it right out. It says in the manual that part needs to be lubed. Well, I guess after a couple hundred plays Saturday, yup, it needed to be lubed. (Maybe Sean wore it out!)So I lubed it and thats all it took. Whew. Was starting to doubt myself. And I better put a remote battery holder on there. The original sucks.

Now she'll be up for sale again...maybe trade but I have to keep my Spidey goal in mind.

Stan

Quoted from Pinballed
I couldnt show up at 8am. I inquired early about this and he wouldnt budge on an earlier time (which I asked for because I knew I couldnt make it for 8am) but he said he couldnt do it otherwise. So, I let it go. I figured someone would have picked it up and that would be the end of it. Nope, last night I got an email saying it was still there. I showed up today and had to wait an hour and a half, the fella was late, his cell phone died, I dont use one anymore. I figured, well, I came all the way out here, I may as well wait it out. he showed up and Bobs yer uncle.

ok, i will share my take on this:
I woke up at 8:00am that Saturday morning, nursing a slight hangover from going out with the boys the night before.

I almost got in the car to drive to Richmond Hill but convinced myself that some one would be waiting there by 7am eager to beat everyone to the punch.
With coffee in hand i walked into my hobby room, glanced at the F-14, then the garage and looked at the two pinbot projects, then wondered where would i put the Grand Lizzard??

Pool Shed?
Hijack the kids main play room? Need to wait 2 more years to do that

Aborted the mission.

The rest is History.
Congrats Stan!!
