My girlfriend (The silver chick in my avatar) and I just bought our first house!  Closing date is Sept. 18th and I can't wait.  It's a bungalow with a two car garage, big backyard and most importantly...finished basement.  There were actual conversations with the Realtor where my girlfriend made statements like "we need to have a finished basement for his pinball tables plus the ones he's planning on buying".  Oh yeah!

I'm extra excited 'cause I told her I wasn't going to buy any new pins until we got into a house, so once we get over the first couple of months of "house crap"  I'm going to start shoveling pins into that basement early next year.  ROCK!

The funniest thing (you guys can probably relate) is that while people are all making with the congratulations, my mind has already skipped ahead to buying more pinball tables.  The house is more like a means to an end.

So what you're saying is that the girl that's got you by the balls in your avatar is your girlfriend?!?

Might as well get married already then since you've accepted that phase of your relationship!!

Mike

Oh and congrats on the house!

Hey thanks a lot guys.  It'll probably seem like an eternity now that my plan to grow my pinball collection is within reach!

Not as easy as if the garage and the basement were on the same floor or anything.  Couple of stairs in to the house then one flight down to the basement.  Probably about average I guess.

I'm sure there's some kind of silverball joke to be made in there somewhere.
