I've been checking the 'classifieds' section and I have one comment to make:
If you want to sell an item, PUT A PRICE!!!
This is a friendly (mostly collectors-only) board. If you want to entertain offers, then I suggest to use this link instead: http://www.ebay.ca
Most of you are 'doing it right', but those 'best offers' are annoying...
I suggest to the moderators that all "no price" for sale ads should be deleted.

I have the same sentiments - whenever I read an ad with a best offer, I just go on to the next one. Often there isn't enough of a description or pictures to figure out a fair price anyway.
The old classifieds had a stuck thread that said all ads must have a price (can also have obo), preferably a picture and city location.
Dito : How can a seller expect an offer from a potential buyer about an unseen bearly described machine ? Most of the time its a knock at the door to see how much it might be worth a stupid price game. I always ignore posts like that.Zap

I don't like those adds any more than you do... In fact, they do infuriate me... I hate it when I look in the paper for houses for the hell of it and never find the price with the pics and description...
But the fact of the matter is this. If I start cutting posts because of one thing, I am going to have to start cutting posts because of other reasons eventually... and so we end up having CENSORSHIP, which I do not want to do.
I want to keep this a "free" site, in the sense that you are free to post anything you like (I deal with the money... but that is another posting... ) We have posted a sticky post indicating that it is preferable to have a description, a price, a location and some pics on every add, and that is pretty much as far as I will go. I will not bend you people to my rules... it is YOUR site.
As for complaints, keep em coming... that is how the site will get better. Some people b**** about no price being listed... some b**** about the lack of pics... If you have a problem with an add, you can always PM or email the person in question and ask for a better ad...it is your right...exert it!!! Worse case scenario, email ME... I could offer a suggestion then myself.
I will look into putting that Sticky thread in all sections of the new classifieds in the meantime...
