So either the new distributor below let the cat out of the bag on the next pin (after BBH) from Stern, or it's just someone stirring up trouble.. I'm pretty excited if it's true though.  Iron Man's my favourite comic book character

Iron Man could make a good pin, so could Xmen. You could have Wolverine's claws as a dual habitrail, some sort of Jean Grey or Magneto levitating ball thing, and a video mode where Cyclops has to shoot stuff with his eyes. It could work out well. One of your modes could be a Wolverine vs Sabretooth battle....yeah, it could be cool.

Yea I saw the same post that was news to me that iron man was the next confirmed pin.

It will be interesting, playability as usual will determine if it's a good pin, theme won't be able to pull it out of the ground if it's a dog, just see TDK.

Great theme... of course, based on the movies and not the comic. But then again, I thought Spiderman was very well made. Almost in between. Makes it more enduring. Great choice too, now that they are doing Iron Man 2 and 3. Timing is good. Hell, Stern should strike a deal with Marvel and do a crapload of comic-based pins. It attracts as many kids as it does adults who read the comics years back.

I would like to see a Hulk, X-Men... and why not Guardian from the Alpha Flight series? (a guy can dream... )

Now if Stern makes a good playfield layout, I believe they will have a winner.

That's the big question, will it suck? I really, really wanted to LOVE Batman. The game is fun, but not in the same league as Spiderman. Plus the code is unfinished. So I'm a little more skeptical about Iron man.

I was so excited about Batman and then let down by the game. What the hell does the crane have to do with anything? No crane in any of the movies. Oh, the designer thought it was cool. Dumb decision. Why bother select a theme if you aren't going to follow it. Why that stupid bridge that does nothing? You cann't even see the car under it. I could go on and on.

And Iron Man has a HUGE strike against it....only one designer left and he did IJ4. Yuck!

Yea and afterward I remember hearing that Stern never wanted to deal with Disney again.  Too many restrictions on what they could and couldn't use and allot of crap like that.  

Indiana Jones was mind-bogglingly bad. hopefully they'd bring in someone to design IM.  

Even if this potential Iron Man was Stern Batman level I'd probably go for it based on theme alone.    If they somehow managed to make an awesome game based around Iron Man I may never leave the house again.

Because they only have one designer left, I bet they'll repurpose an existing playfield. They did that with NBA (and of course Shrek). If Borg is busy working on BBH, I doubt he'll have time to design another pin to be released soon after. Which pin should they base it on? Duh, Spider-man! And the software also has the advantage of a complete ruleset, they just need to insert new phrases, animations, and sounds.
