Stupidity comes in every nationality. Some Americans are just notorious for knowing nothing about anything outside of their glorious nation. Perhaps they are sent to Iraq to get "educated".

I have met good and bad. Sadly more bad than good. My big piss off is the "Canadian tourist" kits they sell to Americans before they go on vacation.

I WILL say that they have a highly professional officer core in there forces...... NCM's not so much

There are stupid people here as well... one middle-aged guy just east of Montreal called me at home for a pinball and asked me how far in Ontario I was. This guy actually believed that as soon as you got off the island of Montreal, you were in Ontario. His reasoning (which he actually debated on this with me) was that I spoke English, thus I lived in Ontario.

When I pointed out that his call was local and that he should look up a map, he hesitated and then hung up, probably realizing how dumb he looked. I honestly believed that this guy probably never left his city.

And I could give SOOO many examples from work... you would not believe how successful business owners are as dumb as a bag of hammers. One guy asked for a dimmer switch on his neon light in a machine... and this guy was an engineer as well. I just stared at him completely dumbfounded.

Retiring soon...

The Education Index is a great way to see why a nation like Canada feels that ignorance in the US is abundant. Simply put in 2008 Canada is 5th and the US is 19th in the rankings. From a relative perspective the differences are considerable. At any rate there are stupid people everywhere, just go the the Mall.

Black Knight, Riverboat Gambler, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Flintstones, Orbitor 1, Wipe Out, Breakshot, The Simpsons Pinball Party, Fish Tales, Eight Ball and a 60 in 1 Cocktail.
