I went to Home Depot after a night shift and asked about Naptha and all I got was "what's it for?" They don't carry it so my question is which store carries naptha?

I believe Naptha is lighter fluid in disguise... so go to a smoke shop and say you have a really big Zippo so you need a litre?

There is naphta in lighter fluid like ''Ronsonol'' and you can find it at Canadian Tire

I got a tin of it at Home Hardware a couple of years ago. It looked like it had been on the shelf for about a hundred years... I literally had to clear the dust and cobwebs off of it. It's in a red container and is called "Coleman Camp Fuel" or something like that. It says on it somewhere that it's Naptha.

Lighter fluid? Really? Man I feel dumb  

Then again, what does an RT know about lighters? Very little because we advocate healthy lungs

naptha is also called "white gas" and is the primary ingredient in camp stove fuel. It works.

VM&P Naptha is what you really want it's Varnish Makers and Painters thinner. You can order it at some paint supply places, but the Coleman fuel will do and is cheaper than lighter fluid (which is made by ROnson and DOES come in bigger bottles if you want).

it's BBQ lighter fluid, but you only want the following brands Kingsford, or Royal Oak.

I use a can of Zippo fluid, myself.. works great.  WAY better than Goo Gone (which is just citronella)

Also try ''super degooper'', very good to clean glue mess after a you remove a mylar.

I ended up buying the Ronsonol from Cdn Tire. I guess knowing the brand names helped this time. Thanks for everyone's input. Now to get to work  

Hey Ricker.what I use is odourless paint thinner-all purpose cleaner from Home Hardware.it works great for cleaning PF's before I clear them.
