I think the original flyers are nifty and have often thought about finding one for each of my games and sandwiching it between a couple pieces of plexi using screws/rivets. I'm not sure what to do with it after that though. A framed flyer came with my CBW but you can't see the back and I don't plan on hanging it on the wall. I almost considered hanging them on a couple of hooks between the legs so you can grab it and look at it but that might look ... odd. Not much point in just keeping in the coin box area.
Who here buys flyers for their games and, if so, how do you display them? Or do you think it is a waste of time/money?

I just started collecting them. I have them in a binder in plastic sheets. I also have some framed on my gameroom walls. I got Steve Ritchie to sign my Getaway HSII flyer for me when I was down at the Seattle show. It's like collecting hockey cards, only so much cooler

they were made to advertise the game so ops would buy them. I'm always surprised by the slogans which are always one way ... more money in your pockets ...(if you give us yours)
I've printed a few (the scans at IPDB are great) but don't think I've ever bought one ... especially since they were free to begin with.

I have a few flyers on the walls in the gameroom. You can buy "document frames" at the dollar store to display them. The document frames are just a piece of glass and a piece of pressed board with some clips. Works quite well and costs..... a dollar.
Strangely enough I just put some in frames tonight for the first time, so yeah, I think they are great as well.

I collect them too. i keep them in a binder, but they would be nicer on display somehow. They can be quite colorful and attractive, just like the games they're advertising. I'd love to find the original red plastic record that came with the Gorgar flyer. It played the very limited soundtrack from Gorgar. Not much, but it was the first "Talking pinball" afterall

Needless to say, I've stopped wasting my money on fliers.
you seem to have a big turnover in games.... maybe the flyers could be your memorial...lol I have a hard time parting with games. Maybe it's all the time i spend getting them to look and play decent...I dunno. They're like kids

I'm hoping things will change when our house is built and I actually have a basement of my own
That being said, i have two machines that will never leave, regardless of my ADD... Magic and Star Gazer. I'll be burried in them both.. yes, BOTH.

I have a binder full of fliers plus I have a bunch displayed around my game room in frames. The majority of the ones displayed are signed by the designer and/or artist as well -- one of the perks of going to the Chicago show
