I recently picked up a book about how video games are manufactured off eBay.  It's written for a young child, explaining all the steps in order that things are put together, and how they work.

The nice thing about this book is that it contains photos of the Williams plant in Chicago, and loosely follows how Joust is assembled.

Damn, is that a retirement village or a factory floor? Interesting that there are no young folks involved in the plant.
