Huge thanks to Gory and Sylvain for passing along this cab, I was going to pick up the machine a few months back, but I'm even happier with the empty. Sylvain stored it, and Gory was about to pick it up and actually handed it to me because I was really stoked about it and he's been too busy to transform it. It's the perfect size for a mini system and CD's, or eddie Munster, or a bow and arrow set, or inflatable gothic companion, I mean, the sky's the limit! It actually fit in my gf's Kia Rio, for those of you who haven't seen a Pin box next to a Kia Rio, just do a google search on "golf ball and garden hose" and you'll get the idea I read through quite a few pinball posts from experienced guys to start this project off correctly, and from all the pictures I saw, the first thing you should generally do is hook up a multimeter and check for voltages. I didn't have a manual but there were two staples left in the cab, which the alligator clips could grab onto nicely.... "-0" volts, I don't know, it's probably just a fuse or something, an easy fix, so I'll sell you this project cheap....just kidding, I'm not giving up. The next thing I did was make sure that the machine had some "all new" wiring in it. So in it went, but all that really did was change the polarity. I was getting really tired of electronic troubleshooting as you can imagine, so I asked some video arcade guys what they'd do, and they said to "throw a computer in it and what they call an "IPac" and call it a day. So I did as they suggested, then proceeded to go to sleep. Hopefully when I wake up this thing works, I can keep you updated if you're interested! Seriously though, I've repainted this sucker, thrown on some wheels and am cutting up some doors, we'll see how it turns out, I'll take some more lousy shots with my eye-bleeding camera Craig |

The photographs are poor, but I think your game needs a steel ball. Then it will work.

I was surfing and I found a cool mod for your game. Man, where do they find this bright ideas? As a bonus, it matches the steel look of the steel ball too! http://www.lakesidepinballparts.com/legs.jpgRed |

MB: probably right, you have a Drac too don't you ? only yours has all kinds of parts mounted on it Red: legs would make it even more "casket" like! cool idea! TZ: lmao, hey! don't laugh, this is going to be the best Frogger yet!! (inside joke) It's true, I'll take anything home that has painted artwork on it, even select humans. I also collect crappy cameras, and realized looking at the photos, that lousy pictures make us look ignorant, which is pretty funny. Ethous, if you can get some "original" cardboard, I'll paypal you right now Seriously though, I love this cabinet, more than some of the working pinball machines. Turning trash into something useful rules! and hope it gave anyone a chuckle during this totally un-funny last minute christmas shopping time of year, I wish it was Halloween all year around!
