Your looking at default scores and min volume override is on. You can change the volume issue in the settings.

I think you probably need to start playing better.

Don't know if that's a dig but no, the grand champ is NIK and first is DAD then other initials.

Nope, wasn't a dig...
Just saying that it took me awhile to get to be grand champion.

As for the initials you are seeing (NIK, DAD, etc..),
those are the factory defaults.
You have to beat those to get your name up there...

[BTW: My comment on the Eprom was that those factory high scores
are stored on the Eprom somewhere. If I can find out where
from amongst the 512,000 other bytes, I can perhaps change them
to something else... ]

So Steph are you saying the machine I have is the one you owned, because I believe this one came from Marty?

Marty has bought and sold 6 TZ 's !

I believe I have #3 !

If you bought yours a few months ago, it's probably #5,
If you bought in the last few weeks, it's probably #6 !

...although only Marty knows for sure !

Cheers,
Steph

Ok, I think I opened up a can of worms here. When I first got this game a year or so ago, I had a problem. When I hit both flipper buttons at the same time the game kicks out.Now it's doing it again after all this messin around with high scores. I had some help with a friend the last time but I'm pretty sure I just changed a fuse. Think it was the geneva switch, It says it's closed when i test it. I need to just leave well enough alone, any more help would be great....Troy

Put a meter to your plug and measure the line voltage. TZ is power hungry and with all the air conditioners running in the summer you may have too low a line voltage which will cause resets.

more about that here:
http://www.marvin3m.com/wpc/index2.htm#reset

The low line voltage jumper statement is incorrect for TZ. It is software selectable for lower voltage markets (Japan). It won't fix your problem and will kill the upper flipper operation during certain points of the gameplay. (basically sucks)
