yeah I know newf112: i don't brag on the price really but i cannot see how they calculate their stuff...... the prices differ from week to week & hour to hour maybe even seconds hehe
I hear ya. Starburst can be frustrating but here are some realities for you... 1. Any shipping of a monitor is going to be expensive and if something breaks in transit you've got to deal with returning it and waiting for a replacement. 2. The cgcc deal is good but you'd have to get the screen shipped from London plus... you've burned your bridges over there so they probably won't deal with you. 3. You have a written quote from a local distributor... print it and go. The price is not the best but it's also not the worst. On the other hand, you could call Denis at camera911.com (amusement911 on ebay) and get a working, used monitor with little burn for $100. He's got a warehouse in St-Anne-des-Plaines packed full of old screens. Or you can buy a used monitor with burn and in need of a capkit from someone here for $40-$50. newf |
