No way! Cyclone is a much better game. Hurricane just proves the point that more is not always better.

It's not a bad game and someone wanting a Cyclone might be just as happy with this.

Is there a big difference between Cyclone and Comet? Else then the circle turning into the backglass...?

In my opinion they are really similar, but never played a real Cyclone.

Quite a difference. Game play is very different and the playfield layout is quite different as well. Comet's gimmick was the million point shot in the right corner. It's a very good game for it's time period and was hugely successful. That's why the game is normally beat to hell. It's a badge of honour when we see these war torn pinball heros. They made money back in the day and have the bruises to prove it.

Cyclone is a better game, IHO. It's actually the game that got me into pinball. I loved playing it back in the University days. I had no clue about rules and such, but the sounds, animated backglass (ok, translite), music, light show and ferris wheel hooked me. I love the voices and quotes: "Hey you with the face!" It was one of the first machines I bought and it was a joy to own for many years before I finally decided to sell it. Now I'm feeling nostalgic... Would love to play that game again. It's not one you find in someone's collection very often.
