Ok,
So I "rescued" a Super Mario Bros (Got a REALLY good deal...)... but the thing is in REALLY bad shape...

I want to bring her back, but not sure where to start...but more importantly, Don't know what NOT to do...

So......  ANy thoughts on where to start...and what about the "Don't" of pinball restore ??

Open to anyone's ideas... I'll start a thread in the project section with pics...

DONT plug it in and turn it on! Not before you inspect this thing from the inside out and determine whether or not it'll fry something.

Next step...determine what needs replacing, and what can be fixed as is...theres fixing and theres replacing.
Then, post here and ask us for help on more specific areas

The pin.

I've never owned vid... but played several times on console...

Was always curious about the pin... Then saw a quick clip on you tube with LEDs... the playfield rocked...I was sold...

Do you have a budget in mind?
how far do you want to go in restoring it?

I got carried away with my current project and went so far to sandblast legs, coin box.. tumble bolts, remove all rust, restore PF and Cab with new stencils etc... Summer and life is getting in the way of finishing it..wash and polish all plastics...

200-300 pics to help me put it back together.

Last but not least.. What will the game be worth when its complete? This does not matter to some...

I still have the SMB cab that you sold me so long ago before I knew what I was doing. It has been running 100% since I fixed the cab and put in a working board.

Sadly, the kids love it, so it is not for sale (nor available for conversion to a D2K ... little pukes).
