You sure you weren't in that video trashing vids to get to the pins?

This seller needs to bring an auctioneer if he wants to move that much stuff.

I agree with Marty. There may be a few diamonds in the rough here but I think you would be looking at sub $100 prices for most of these in their current state.

Most fall into that range of being too old to make money and too new to have any nostalgic value.

FYI:

Some pics were added, and the start bid price lowered to $3900 USD,
for that 30-video arcade games eBay auction in Casselman.

Probably still will not move even at that price, given the deflated market
for non-classic video arcade games, or games with converted cabs.

I wonder what effect the current market price may have on the future....
Who knows, perhaps in 10 years it will pick-up, driven by the nostalgic
now older video arcade player... but many games would have been
destroyed in the mean time, due to being not worth much earlier...
(geez, just like any collectable!)

Cheers,
- Sylvain

If I had the space and more disposable income I would consider making a serious offer on this lot. It has to be easily worth 3500 CDN if you resold them maybe even as filler machines for an operator or starting out in a small town where titles are welcomed regardless of popularity. OR maybe not ...might find that they will become your headache instead who knows...However if he threw 1 one pin in the mix  there would be a bidding war.lol

Current Pin Roster:   Monster Bash, Cirqus Voltaire, Theater of Magic, Champion Pub
Currently seeking:   Medieval madness and Big Bang Bar

Current Vid Roster: Carnevil, Wizard of Wor, Power Drift, Mortal Kombat, MAME(Kinda)

I really think he'd have better luck getting the word out and then opening his shop for an afternoon and selling the games off at $150 - $250 each.

He could sell on the higher end (probably $300) for games like lethal enforcers, die hard, VF2... especially with working 25" monitors.

I'd definately drive over to check it out

I emailed the guy asking how much he would estimate shipping for the lot...and the answer was $2250. In the end, it will cost too much for a bunch of untested games.

I sent the guy an email about this lot asking if he had considered having an "open house".  He said he had not but he is now.  I sent him the link to maaca suggesting he post a date and time for people to come out and see his inventory and maybe buy individual machines.  Hopefully something will come out of it.
