Hey all,

We likely need a host for Dec. 12th. Any later we face way too much holiday "crap". Any volunteers? Even with it being on the 12th I am sure many will have other commitments however I am guessing this will be the best of any weekend date.

Has it been a month already?    I think sensfreak and Twilightzone offered up their gamerooms for meetings next so maybe they'll chime in altho I think it was Jan and Feb?

I can make it to a meeting on that date as well. I can also host, but ONLY if points are counted...no way I am giving up my "home field" advantage

I can host in Dec. if the above mentioned people chicken out.

I would be fine with it except I'm in Mexico from the 6th thru the 13th, so the following wkd. would be good if thats not too late.  I also have only 3 Pins plus Slugfest, so hopefully that will work for the league OK..JIM

Soneone just commit to hosting and set a date. To try it the other way will never work as it is a busy time of year. Once we ahve a location and date we can count how many are coming. If the numbers are too low we can move it to early Jan.

Well you may be right but we've already got 3 offers to host on different dates in December. Not sure the best way to move forward without some feedback on what dates people would be most likely to attend. But the date should be set soon...

The 12th is good with me (busy on the 19th).

Booked solid until January, but I should be fine then.

I was originally going to have a meeting in January but if Duane wants January then I can do February.  ME, I will make sure that BK is running well so you can play it before then.    (Yes that means a personal invite...lol)

Just curious, are we doing OPL points as well? I want to lock down my awesome 8th place average

Looks like there'll be enough people for OPL points, but it's up to tiny rodent to decide.

Sounds like there will be plenty of attendees this time. What is a reasonable minimum? Last season we had a few meetings with only 6 people.

I'm sure your all sick of my opinion on the subject of your league but oh well I've never been one to keep things to myself.

I don't think you should limit points based on number of people attending.

The points are supposed to act as an incentive to show up as they will put you in a better position for your playoffs.  If you make a minimum 6 people required to show up before you give out points, you might end up where people just wait around till 6 other people confirm before they decide to show up as there isn't any point to show up until there is 6 people.

Yes you definitely will have something in your van that I will want.  Woo hoo  TSPP.  I just have to make sure that BK has rebuilt flippers by then so you can really enjoy it.  Maybe you will enjoy it so much that you will want to do a game trade.

doing the basement, should add a lot of machines till then....will post on my gameroom!!!

We got it working. Put in a lower power coil and gave her a quick wax job. The lower power flipper has MORE power than the old overheated/warped coil did

We go it all running, start to play a game...John plays first ball...drains...I start my ball, press the flippers and POOF, the entire game powers down !! We are thinking the worst as we just worked on it, but kinda stumped..as even if we did fVck up the coil wiring, there is a fuse for each coil ??  

Then I remember, the main fuse popped out when M.E. was working on the TZ and she put it back it. I open up the coin door and sure enough the main fuse fell out again, WHEW!
