That situation was blown WAY out of proportion by the media. Ask anyone in Quebec, they were thrilled about McCartney coming. A media member asked McCartney why he was in Quebec due to it being francophone. McCartney responded as written... get over it.
It takes one media-moron to make a mountain out of a molehill. It is why I rarely watch or read the news today, other than watching it on the BBC.
CNN and Fox News have to be the WORST out there for propaganda. They rather MAKE the news than report it.

Had to laugh....those that complained said "..some Quebecers lament his participation evokes painful memories of English hegemony..." The battle was 350 years ago. So who can possibly remember that?

And then Loaf looks at his cell phone, and he sees the date. the year is 2009, the month is March, the date is fuzzy... 21st? 27th? There's a 2 there, but he's not sure what, if anything is next to it. Maybe the crystal ball will reveal more tomorrow.
