Well seeing my last poll was a little depressing. Love the results. Here is a new one. This is multiple choice. What is your favorite way to locate new machines or project. Would have added a few more but I tried to add the most used.
Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.
75% of my machine was from MAACA, the reason I paid too much for them Seriously, I love project and you can find many here. With classified, you have to decide very fast and I don't like dealing (the reason I would never make money with pins so it's really an hobby Good too that many members here are in Ontario, keep me from buying too much projects

Cheers, - Sylvain.
Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, 1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others. Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
Then I stop in at sirtype's, and highspeed's, and when all those people get tired of me, (which doesn't take long, I'm freaking annoying and I'm always lowballing everyone) then I watch about 30 Ebay "pick-up only in texas" auctions and forget to bid on ALL of them...
When I'm done there, it's about 1AM, so I go to the darkest strip-club I can find that has a buffet that even seagulls wouldn't touch, and pump quarter after quarter into a Ms pac cocktail with a sketchy monitor instead of playing all the machines I've restored lol.
I can't select any of the choices since I got one through an ad at work and another via ME. I am figuring that MAACA will be best place for me to get a TZ and MAACA connections will help me find a MM. A guy can wish can't he?
hey you forgot everybodys true favorite... To have somebody find out you collect pins and then have them ask you if you want their old 'junk' game in the basement. Of course the game would also be for free as long as you picked it up right away.
Another Inane post brought to you by the good people of ACME Corp... Purveyors of the all-purpose Thread Killer.
I'm new to the scene folks but thought I would chime in and add "the dump" the the list......Yep I wasn't long throwing the ole Gottlieb in the back of the truck, couldn't wipe the grin off all the way home. later TFC
In this economic climate, I like looking for companies that are going out of business that have an arcade. Also, the occasional garage sale does turn up some nice pics!
You may mean new machines as in hot off the shelf but for some of us, new just refers to "new to me!"

I never thought about the dump... I am going to have to scrounge around there one of these days!
