This is one pf that I can't for the life of me figure out why no one has attempted to reproduce. There have been overlays but for the number of machines made and this games historical significance I would have anticipated this one to be forthcomming before some of the others that have been done.

I am guessing your going to pay the topside of a grand if you find a NOS one.

CPR was supposed to produce one. The same fellow that did the BK was working on it then I heard a rumour of some kind of falling out and now a fellow in Europe has taken it over.

My HS playfield isn't terrible since mylar has protected it for the most part but there are bubbles and unprotected areas are flaking.

I think it's odd that this is taking CPR so long. They would sell a tonne, methinks.

The one sold on ebay for $381 was NOS.... We will pay a lot more when they will reproduce them!

CPR should make F-14 as well, another hot selling sys 11 with plenty of bad playfields.

I'd of paid that in a heatbeat. Mind you the pf's that are coming out now are superior in appearance to NOS IMHO. Would rather have one of the repros than NOS in some instances depending on when the game was made.

Sys11 even NOS is going to have mylar on it and I suspect in some cases may even have the varnish delamination issue on the inserts. The new cleared pf's are nicer for this reason.

$381 is cheap for a HS playfield, they were usually produced without Mylar I think, and played to death, I have seen so many worn to wood playfields on HS.  At one point I almost offered up one of my two as a sample for thte CPR guy who was "going" to finish the artwork so they ould reproduce ti, but then who knows what happened there.  It's been "in the works" for the last couple years at least.

I have one "ok" hs playfield and one "battered all to sh*t" hs playfield.  So I'll be in line when then finish one, and now that I know that SOMEONE was selling an NOS HS Playfiel;d, you can be sure I'm going to set my eBay  Kijiji and Lespac searches to look for one.  !
