The chances of finding an unshopped domestic TAF at a fair price anymore are astronomical.

I guess I beat the odds. This one came from good old Laniel. How domestic can you get?

Needs a pf to make it fantastic, but sat in one location almost it's entire life so it really has a lot going for it. Some wear around the flips in the black and some minor stuff on the cab. Topper is unscathed. Really the pf is the main issue.

Anyways looking for TAF pf before exploring a redo CC on it. Oh yeah, and the right slingshot plastic.

Congrats Glen.........Pinball Wizard in Montreal (I think that is his name) had a new playfield and a project AF. Not sure if he sold it, but he had it last year. Maybe someone in Montreal can help if it is still available.

Phil is on the horn to him about the pf. I know at one time he was willing to split.

I got a price of $750USD on a refurbed TAFG pf that is original and looks pretty nice. Is there a difference in TAF to TAFG pfs?

Yes, a couple of manision are labelled differently. I could check mine at home later today to see if the colors are different.

I don't think so, even checking the IPDB the mansion inserts are labled the same from TAFG and TAF.

The one I am being offered is an original Lenc Smith. The seller said he swapped for an IPB for a customer and the plywood is softer on the IPB so coils are falling out. Is this BS about the IPB ones?

Anyway here is the money shot on the replacement one being offered.

Never heard anything about IPB fields being made of softer wood.

But that looks the same as mine.
