Norton tells me that this site (rather onlinehome.us) is a security threat to my computer. Anyone have any info on this?
Says it's a low threat Downloader......but still. Would like some more info as I sift through A LOT of sites and only this one comes up as a threat. And I surf through some very shady sites.
I get the same Threat report, but only the last day or two. Not sure if Norton updated or something happened here, or onlinehime.us actually. Anybody else see this, or have any more info? MacPhreak?
Here are games I would like to acquire this year, or sometime...

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but one of the headaches this site's given me is that from work, I had to manually log in every time, the ONLY site I visit regularly that does this from work (it had to do with lowering security settings, again, the only site). Because of security protocol's, I was not able to lower the IE security settings but no biggie, I could still log in, just manually everytime I visited the site.
However, for about 1 week now, that's no longer necessary, I can visit the site from work and never have to manually log in.
Coincidence? Either way, I'm sure all is ok with the site but good question to ask.
Nothing that I know of. This has happened before though. Nothing came of it. I was told it was Norton being a bit too ''pro-active''. It could also be someone pissed off that pointed us out as a bad site.
I can assure you that on our side, the only thing I can see is your IP, and unless something needs to be reported to the authorities (has happened only twice), you have nothing to worry.
Great... they are not making it easy... they are asking me to perform a proof of ownership for onlinehome.us ... problem is that I own but a small portion of it...
Well in any case Sparky - thanks for checking it out and letting us know.
Oh - and so much for that advertising that EVERY Maaca page has for Norton on here huh? "Free Norton + Norton Virus".
Send them an email telling them that you are looking into promptly removing ads for THEM because they are unfairly discriminating against your site. Heheh.

Unfortunately, for Norton, we are like a fart in a hurricane... kind of insignificant. I can't even contact them, other than to argue on a site labelling like in our case... but I can't prove ownership, so nothing will happen.
What the hell does ownership have to do with it? Either the site is causing problems or it's not. All Norton has to do is connect to the site and see what the @T$%@$ happens. If nothing happens, it's not an offending site.

Well, Websherpa has gratiously offered to host the site... I am thinking about it. The only thing I want to avoid is a conflict of interest. But yes, that would aleviate any problems with the whole Norton situation... maybe I should start a poll on this...
