Well, here is the thing... I am gutting my old bathroom and renovating it soon, and I am planning on also gutting part of my master bedroom and making an ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom will be about 9x9. The original bathroom is 8.5x7 wit a 60" counter with 2 sinks, a toilet and a standard 70's green-and-rusty bath. In the original bathroom, I will gut it but make it the same layout, with a deeper tub. For the ensuite, I was planning on putting in a nice stand-up shower with glass doors, ceramic walls and acrylic base, with a toilet and small sink, but I wouldn't mind a nice tub too if I can swing it. At this point, it is still in the planning phase. Big baths are nice, but I also would have to check floor structure to see if it will hold it up.

If I spend 6000$ on a bathroom, it adds 20000$ to the house... and I am visiting the new house tomorrow to get an idea... I would make a good profit on my house, but 400 grand is still 400 grand.

The last one is nice... probably more suited to my space...

Of course, any and all inquiries have to be approved by the minister of finances and interior decorating... my wife.
