I picked up a Sea Wolf game recently and it has a video problem.  There are often vertical rows of dots across the screen.  It is randomly worse or better on some resets.  If I start a game it typcially plays for a few seconds then goes back to the opening screen.  If I leave it on the opening screen eventually it freezes.

I'm thinking one of the RAM chips is on it's way out.

Before changing any chip, and with power off, reseat the Eproms carefully,
and check the connector between the two L-shape boards' interconnect.
Those games are notorious for issues there.

Cheers,
- Sylvain.

Yep, tried all of that, even pulled the Proms and the dots still sometimes show up when removed.  I'm going to try holding each RAM chip in reset to see which one causing the problem.

Thanks for that!  Where was that place?
I'm still in for going across again next time.
I'm hoping to learn about the board set & fix it just for interests sake.  Found a couple really good repair docs on the Midway 8080 system.
