Sad day for metal fans. Saw him a couple of years back with Heaven and Hell in Ottawa, and many times before in MTL. at the Forum during his Sabbath years and solo time( anyone go to the show at the forum with the Fire breathing dragon?). He really was THE voice of metal, with all due respect to Rob Halford. RIP RJD.


Rebuilding...currently Scared Stiff, Guns N'Roses, Bally Harley Davidson, Fish tales, Slugfest, JVL Conquest standup,and a Wurlitzer Juke.

I heard he had cancer but was seemingly beating it. Guess not... A BIG loss for the music world. I loved everything he did. Fantastic artist who always gave his best.

but all the real  metal shows were at Verdun Auditorium until '87 (rainbow, maiden, dio,metallica, )
