so what does everyone think? I only put it on this 1 spot, but I am thinking of putting it on all the black wood "side rails" on my DM

it= Brushed aluminum (real) mac-tac type adhesive covering.

But I will say that it nicely looks "real"! Good for you Zak and if it were a hopelessly gouged section then it may help though I would wonder how it wills tand up to ball abuse?  Any ideas?
