There's an ad on Kijiji for a need to repair 2 EMs in Kingston.  I've been emailing, they have a Jungle Queen and a Space Mission that turn on and do nothing.  Could be a credit issue, could be a fuse... generally I've found if a game resets but then won't start, it's not a terribly difficult fix.  if you have any interest, either reply to the ad or PM me and I'll forward their details.  They really want them working, not to sell.  It's a bit of a drive for me, so they're hoping to find someone more local (I'll charge 50cents a kilometre - kind of makes it an expensive repair).

That person has been advertizing for months (at least since Sept.2009, if not earlier).

I did email them back then, but they only want someone local, with experience,
who can do in-house repairs (e.g. they cannot move the machines).

I did fix two EMs for someone else in Kingston in Jan.2009 - he brought the machines
to Kanata, after he got ripped by someone local in Kingston who took one year to *try*
to fix one, and charged a lot of $ for doing not much (The Fiery 30s, and a Travel Time).

I contacted the people again and actually went there today.
Very nice people, and they were very happy that someone finally went.
It was fun to see them smiling from ear to ear !

They had hoped that Fantastic (Greg) would have been able to go,
but he did not have time and has now since moved overseas.

The two machines are fixed (although they still need rubber rings,
and also to investigate why the Jungle Queen plays players 1 & 3
for 2-player games; probably an issue with the coin unit disk).
