this thread is for confirmed games that people are bringing to the show.
Please pm me the game/ games you wish to bring and I'll update the list as it goes.

You should probably put the person's name next to the game to better keep track. I'll bring Getaway and F-14 Tomcat.

Likewise.  If I come, I'll bring my Star Gazer (it's the only thing that'll fit in our car).

Same day as the TOPL double header Nov 6th, still working on seeing if we can move the double header or not.  

May I suggest a clear post on dates, times and place of the show? I gave up looking after 3 pages of posts in the other thread.

That's great; I see the time/place above now but what about set-up/tear-down times?

Perks for people bringing games: free addmission, and entry for special door prize.
Set up/ tear-down is being negotiated with venue management. So far we have the following morning for tear-down
accommodations: I work for Hilton and am negotiating special rates.

More info will be posted as I receive it.

Club Saw? According to a review on yelp:

Squished next to SAW Gallery, is Club SAW. A music venue in the dark and cool basement of the Arts Court. There isn't a lot of room to this space, but that can just feed into an interesting experience. Saddled up between the stage and the gallery is a bar with cheap booze.

Not all events in Club SAW are concerts. The space is also used for screenings of movies, such as Saturday Night Sinema's monthly exploitation flicks (not anymore since they just bought the Mayfair). Plays, discussions, workshops and book launches are also held in this space.

We have saw gallery as well as club saw, which gives us over twice the space listed here.

How many pins do you think the venue could accommodate?

Before we meet on the 11th, is it possible to show the venue to other planning volunteers first?

Great initiative for Ottawa !
Few quick questions:

- will this event be advertized anywhere ?
  (e.g. is it for the MAACA population only, or for the general public?)

- entry fee amount for the general public or for those not bringing machines ?

- any vendors invited (parts, operators, dealers, fleamarket, etc.)

- what is the parking situation at this downtown location
   (for ease of unloading/loading, and cost).

I am sure the Toronto Gameroom show organizers (held back in May 2010)
might have tips/feedback.
...Might have to start small this year and move from there, as it is easy
to lose money in such event and preparation.

Good move ! I wish i was closer . But then again , i ' m not afraid of distance . I may show up with my SONIC SUPER STRAIGHT since it ' s upstairs in the living room and easy to get out of the house ...  

Where in Ottawa is the show going to be? I would love to drop by with my Evil Dead pin.
