I wondered whether there would be interest in having an informal get-together of some group members at my Showroom in Kanata?? I've got a sweet deal with Little Caesars so I could supply all the Pizza / Wings/ and Soft Drinks....maybe on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon?? As some of you know, I've got over 40 machines setup to play(and many more in storage), so theres lots of fun to be had...I'm trying to move out of the showroom by the end of March ( rent is a little high!!) so there would definitely be some deals to be had on my remaining machines...my wife has expressed her "opinion" on the possibility of them all moving into our basement!!!

      If it sounds like a  good idea, let me know what day would work for most.... for the Montrealers, Kanata is just west Of Ottawa, so about a 2 hour drive.

      I'm also proud to announce a new addition to my "family"...after being advised by many to do so, I'm very pleased to announce the arrival of "Twilight Zone" ...he weighed in at about 200 lbs.....Dad is doing REALLY good...Mom doesn't know yet.

I would drive from Montreal to see this huge showroom also.  It is a chance for someone normally not too big on Pinball to really analyze different machines.

like Mrhide said might be more ideal for you better turn out more planning and list what you have for sale i am sure it would be easier in the long run.

Sounds like he has to be out of there by the end of March so planning for the meet after Medvet's may not be an option.

I don't want to open a can of worms here but....

I know Mary Ellen (Medvet) has graciously offered to host the next meeting/party,
but I'm not sure that she is too caught-up with a specific date.

I also know (...because I was there last night and she told me...),
that she'll need some electrical work done to her games room
because all her pins are on the same breaker ,,, !

That said, since JVEGAS is somewhat under a deadline to move out
of his warehouse, it might be more advisable to "slot in" a meeting
there first, and then go to Mary Ellen's at a [not too] later date.

Like I said, I certainly don't want to rock the boat,
and I'll gladly go to whomever is hosting the meeting,
but from a purely logistical point of view given the timelines,
having a meeting at JVEGAS's place first might make a little more sense.

Maybe something in Mid-March (say the 18th),
and then have another meeting at Medvet's in late April or so
(...right before Allentown.. )

i am just tryin to get there as well, for us out of towners we have to plan in advance and would love to see the collection. what ever the solution i am sure it will be fun for any who attend.

Hey Jim, I suggest that you PM Medvet and work it out with her... I agree with Steph, it would give her time to fix the house, but then again, I would hate to see a fight between members to see who hosts the next one.

Besides, I have no qualms about 2 meetings in a row in Ottawa.
