Had to order a few standard parts for a Bally Freedom, used Jean-Marc's CanadaPinballParts.  Just thought I'd throw a plug out there for this guy... I just got a refund because shipping turned out lower!  Don't get that kind of service from any of the US suppliers.  He may not have an extensive inventory, but if he's got what you need, with the dollar as it is right now, he's your man.

I also had a great experience with JM's CanadaPinballParts.
Great parts and service at a fair price.

Merci Jean-Marc !

+1 here also, ordered some bulbs, fast and good communications.
Partial refund on shipping $$

Nice to have a Canadian site to deal with.

I'll try to buy from him when I can, this way when we need him he will still be up and running.

Thanks,

Jean-Marc.

Don't mean to steal this thread or anything but just wanted to shed some light on dealing with Illinois Pinball which less people are familiar with.

Just received my order from Illinois Pinball, after waiting quite a while due to various complications and with them moving to a new location, getting stuff ready for a clearance sale etc.  Anyways they said they covered the shipping when they sent me my parts and invoice.  After I paid for the parts including shipping, a day later I got a refund for shipping of $26.85 US (Priority Mail USPS).  When they said they covered shipping I didn't think they meant it literally so that was definitely a nice surprise.  Moreover I requested shipping by USPS, which is not their preferred method of shipping since it takes more work on their part, not much more, but nonetheless they were happy to oblidge.  I also received a bonus part from them that they didn't charge me for, that I didn't order, that I will be able to use in the future.  It was an Addam's Familiy bookcase base (I ordered some AF parts).

What do think of that!

I will definitely order from them again in the future and keep in mind they bought all the Capcom parts and have some pretty good prices on these parts (Capcom flippers $4.00, plunger link assembly for the stage $6.95, bumper plastic that gets all beat up - quite a large plastic by the way $12.00, large Fishtales plastic on the left-middle above the stand-up targets $6.00 etc.).

Not trying to hijack either but I CAN'T stand dealing w/ IPB.

Every time I call there Kim chats the s***t out of me about all things, the pin industry, rgp nutbars, Australian nutbars etc. etc. Then we usually go on a tangent & get into religious nutbars, the state of the economy, & what the boy's are ordering for lunch.

I wish they had a 1-800 #.

Oh, & then they go & send me refunds too when shipping is overpaid.

Really can't stand dealing w/ honest, genuine, normal people....

Btw, I missed pulling an April fool's on anyone.... better late than never I guess.
