OK - first of all - this is NOT to be confused with the OPL meeting on Sat Oct 24 - that is still happening as planned and in the corresponding thread.

When Wayne had planned to bring glass here on Sat (which is now not happening yet) a few people were coming by to play pinball and pick up glass. At this point,  I figure, even with Wayne cancelling, may as well make it into a party. The only change, to make it easier on my schedule with my son is to start at 5 pm rather than earlier and I'll kick out by 11 or so. This is open to all MAACA members as long as you PM me to let me know you are coming.

As it stands now, I have Twilightzone, robotype, Soapymule, Pharoah007 , Tinyrodent, Tomcar Dude, Jonny-eh , Hippochrome, Jester, sensfreak, tom_454 and a couple of others I forget. Bring some munchies and something to drink altho we have a local small corner store and a pizza place in my village. I think I have about 25-30 game set up right now and most working   so feel free to PM me and come play some pinball before all the sys 11 have to be folded for ping pong season.

Shaping up to be a fun evening. I'm leaving all my Sterns up  for this meeting and then will rotate in new games for the OPL meeting in 2 weeks so if you are coming  to both, you won't be bored by the same games . Sys 11 will stay set up for both. First guest arriving helps me carry down a new sys 11 to the basement - easy job, honest, just can't do it myself, safely

Nope that one is already in the basement.

Let's just say after 2 1/2 months of being on the wagon for my "pinball addiction" I fell off the wagon a few times recently! ! (and a couple more planned times soon.....   )

Yet another thanks to Medvet, great time as always!

Actually I owe all YOU guys a big thanks! That, I think, was one of the most fun parties I've ever hosted. It was a blast meeting the new members and having them enjoy playing some different machines and it was a perfect mix of playing and socializing. We even had an international component with Stefano visiting from Italy.

A big thanks to tinyrodent and Tom for being the first suckers (oops....I meant gentlemen  ) to arrive and help bring the F-14 down into the basement. Then Zak (pharoah007) was a master co-pilot for drilling all the locks to get it open) It was well worth it - very fun game! Also a huge thanks to all the "pinball guys" who helped out a girl in need by sacrificing their noses to the Whirlwind. We have a new MAACA joke now about "How many guys does it take to sniff out pinball smoke?"..... I'm feeling motivated to get those boards out now and will get it up and running for the OPL meeting.

I hope to see all our newest members at the OPL season coming up. Again thanks to everybody for coming and making it such a fun get-together. I think the last left around 12:30 - time just flew last night. And....I'll even let Jester come back after breaking my MM   !!!
