I just picked one up from a guy in the states (via ebay).  He sold it to me for $130 and decalred it as broken worth $15 - i.e. no duty)....

With shipping and exchange is came to about $190 Canadian.

Little Shop of Games is $135 plus shipping, etc for a brand new DMD.  I just purchased one from them and had it shipped to a USA address for $14.  Total under $150 USD.

Wrong. The red on BSD is achieved by a using red coloured lense in front of the DMD.

For normal home use, it shouldn't matter which brand you but (Babcock or Vishay).  Assuming you don't leave them on all day and night.
