I actually have a time set up on Friday to see the Big Hit machine in this ad (http://tinyurl.com/6677sh) and a 4 Square he says he has. Now I think I'm going to pass and just go to Church of the Silver Ball that night. I've had notes from 2 addresses (doctor_electrical@yahoo.com and pinball_repair@yahoo.com) -- both notes came from someone named James, but when I talked to the guy on the phone, he said one was his partner. It's sounding more and more fishy. Do those 2 numbers and a shop address at 289 Inverness in Hamilton mean anything to anyone?

I'm yet to hear a first-hand account from someone that's actually been screwed by the guy. In fact, I know of at least two people that have dealt with him and got pretty much what they expected.
I just take issue with him because he steals photos from the web rather than taking his own.
I know of someone that has been screwed by him, but he wants the issue to go away and be done with. He has asked me not to repeat it, and I have agreed to that. I would not reccomend anyone deal with him, not worth the aggravation.

This guy should be in jail, if indeed it is again Mr.Uttley.

He's definitely been caught scamming in the past, particularly radio stuff, and I once got a call from his girlfriend asking me to help report him to the police. He used to live on Hatt Street near some friends of mine, although I haven't met him (nor do I want to). He tried to scam a UK eBay buyer once that we helped (he lost money on the pinball purchase, but we helped stop him from getting scammed on the "packing and transport" too).
He seems to keep his nose just barely clean if he lets you show up to purchase. I would imagine this is someone on medication and there are worse times than others.
Kudos to the poster, Kijiji is supposed to have a permanent ban on Anderson, Uttley. I suggest we go back on a campaign to report his postings. He always increases them just before Christmas. Semi-legit postings with some obvious scams (or an attempt at a scam if someone is foolish enough to try to deal with him long distance). Time I had a chat with my friends at Hamilton Police Services to see if they can dig up any priors, that sort of thing and tip them off.
I will pass on the new emails and address for posting on the most wanted list.
By the way, regardless of Mr. Anderson's actual scam activities, Kijiji, eBay, craigslist (which currently seems to be pretty clear of Mr. Anderson) will remove the poster if you report images as being copyright infringements.
