Since the discussion i wanted to reply in is in the classifieds section, i created a new post to add my opinion (after reading Sparky's comments about Ebay).

-----
Just a quick note for Ebay (i know this is a for sale, admins maybe move the discussion part somewhere else... nevermind, actually i did !), it is also true the other way, if you put something that doesnt sell on Ebay doesnt mean you have to give it away after, there are a lot of local people who doesnt have Ebay accounts or just doesnt want to deal with Ebay. Also, sometimes, the whole world doesnt necessarely check Ebay in the specific 7 days your auction is running, etc..

I was getting sub-2000$ offers for my GnR after it didnt sell on ebay   That beeing the main argument for the offer... oh and i guess Jim buying a mint one for 1600$ didnt help either... but it was a REAL find !

I'm sure you can find a sub-1000$ game, its very likely you will, it can be nice (someone who doesnt know market) or a project. You can find any games for cheap, it all depends on condition, we are all quick on the trigger but in the end, condition drives the prices.

That beeing said, i have a 400$ Meteor for you...

Sylvain

Thanks Sylvain but I'll pass on the Meteor.

Now regarding the price for one of my preferred machines, in need of repair & shop... easily justified by browsing Mr. Pinball classifieds. Most of them can be found just over US$1000, "fully working". I may be dreaming a bit to find a deal in Ottawa, but that's allowed isn't it?

Playable Now: Centaur II, Doctor Who, High Speed. Playable Soon: Breakshot, Sorcerer Later: Flash, Genie, Seawitch Fondly remembered: Firepower

Dreaming is all its about my friend, we desire these games... we prepare ourself for the day we get our grail in the basement, and once its there, we start thinking about what else we could trade it for

Keep the faith and a deal will drop on you... it happens, happened to me and to others. Patience needed, thats all.
