Its a non trivial task.  For a first time full swap I guess 7-10 hrs minimum.  It really depends on your skill level.

Would it be dumb to buy a whole plastic set repro to get two plastics for my BK2K.  Now there's a realistic question to ponder.  I can try and make my own repros in the meantime, but by the time I get to it, the CPR set will be long sold out. So do I buy one as a potential "investment" in case my work fails to satisfy?

I think I heard/read that CPR might entertain in the future selling common broken plastics like the slings for a smaller cost.   Likely not in 2008, but in the  future.
