It depends on a few things...
First, you need to know that there is Chexx (circa 1983) and a Super Chexx (circa 1986).
The Super Chexx is essentially the same, but keeps track of shots on goal. (... mechanically, both are the same )
Ironically, Chexx is made by an American company, so the teams featured are usually USA and Russia.
They did make a Canadian edition (with a red base rather than blue), which feature Canada Vs. Russia (...I don't know if a Canada Vs. USA version exists... )
I'm guessing a Chexx game with a Canadian team might fetch a bit more money (in Canada...) , ... or rather, a game WITHOUT a Canadian team might fetch less.
[ BTW, if anyone has the US version, I have an eprom that replaces the US National Athem, with "Oh Canada" ]
The other big factor is the condition of the dome. Most often these are pretty scratched. You can can still buy new replacements, but they are $300-400 each.
For a decent working Chexx, figure about $700-800CDN For a Super Chexx $800-$1000CDN
Yes, you can probably find some for less, but they probably have a few problems, (broken gears, broken score board, scratched dome ).
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Steph
