Do they even have pinball games there? You'll probably find arcades though, but they'll be filled with pachinko machines and fighting games.

Games were exported to Japan.  If you look in any of the WPC manuals, they list Japanese settings, along with German and a few other countries where I guess they exported a reasonable amount of machines too.

The first time I heard of someone reimporting a game from Japan, it did sound odd though.

I've seen photos from Japanese pinball tourneys before .. the photos looked like they were from homes, don't know if the machines are in their arcades
