You know what would be cool. If the site had a section dedicated to just usefull links. It could even be set up like a library with everything segregated by type. ie backglasses, playfields, electronics, tools, repairs. That way when older, absent minded people like myself delete a link from their computer they'd still be able to find it on the site. Cause in the end it really is just all about me.
Another Inane post brought to you by the good people of ACME Corp... Purveyors of the all-purpose Thread Killer.

I think that is a SUPER idea. Did you hear /read that one, Sparky !
I also think this is a great idea But again I would not be doing the work!!! so it is always easier to tell others to get on with it (ha ha) but it is a great idea.
Problem with links is half the time they go dead. Rather than linking it would be more of a service to host the information.
Look at the pinball rubber database. Gone and AFAIK no one has the info posted any longer. We get the same thing with sideart. Gone. I don't know how many cross-linked and ring of pinball sites are simply gone.
Not sure how up-to-date it might be (or not) however.
Cheers, - Sylvain.
Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, 1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others. Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
Just to briefly touch the database subject, the reason many databases dissapear is due to copyright infringement. Not something I want to get nailed for. But links are OK. Not a problem.
