If there is one thing I cannot stand in this hobby is a hoarder. someone who has tons of parts or info and just sits on it.

I have recently bought a targ and was looking to refurbish it later, so I started to look for some cab art for it. I found 5 guys that have CPO scans or original CPOs and 4 with sideart... and NONE want to either scan what they have or send me the file they already have so I can make me some.

Their reason:

"well, we don't want anyone to make money off of what we worked on, so we keep it to ourselves"

My answer:

"If you keep it to yourself, even you don't benefit from it..."

I would love nothing more than to start a database and make it open to everyone, for all art pertaining to dead companies, like Stern Electronics, Exidy, Venture, Allied Leisure, Game Plan, etc...

Who the hell benefits from sitting for years on tons of info that can help many? Assholes... that's who.
