Are there any reasonable options besides NAVL?  I just had a pin shipped from Halifax to Ottawa and it was less then 150$, and the crate was included in the price.

NAVL can't have a monopoly on the pin shipping market, can they?

You can try http://www.forwardair.com you'll get a quote online. But you have to crate yourself, take the machine to the airport and pick it up at the airport. I used them a few times and they are reliable. But you must get a custom broker, and be willing to go to the airport...
