I know how you feel. 14hr and 16hr days 7days a week, then into a night of 3.5hrs sleep and back at it. I am getting too old for this crap. Hell when I was 18 I was too old for this crap. Thankfully it's over and I slept in till 6am. Now I am off for a month. My brain can't even comprehend that at this moment. Probably will take a week just to adjust.

Honestly doing 80+ hours of weeks was not hard on me.
The dam money goes to the dam tax man.
Not seeing my kids that's hard special at 2 and a half and 4 I missed them i would only see them sleep.
But contract is over means i am out of work again they might use me part-time they loved the fact i did all those hours and commitment but the company during July and August is dead so no chance for work.
Now my problem is i have to continually find work either fixing pinball for Roch and other small jobs because i have no UI to fall on.
It ran out in April exactly when i found this job and never knew till i started work.
But seems like IT industry are looking for but plugs to fill in for summer so that might pan out.
Just wish this dam economy would just stabilize that would make things better.
One day at a time spend a little more time with kids and sell some stuff I don't need and been wanting to clean out.

I feel your pain. I remember my 2 yr old dauthter waking up at 5 AM to walk to the living room before I leave to give me hugs knowing I would come back after she's in bed by night. That got me feeling like crap, a lot more then the extended hours of the rush project.
