Locking a thread like this doesn't help to resolve the issue, it just deflects it onto some future thread.  Let it ride, i say !

Hey, I love peace, John Lennon had the right idea.....but I'm not afraid to fightback when attacked - I actually find it a challenge... testing the attackers buttons until I hit on one that works. It's very scientific if approached correctly. (However I would prefer not to have to do this too.)  

As i said, I will only retaliate. I will not cast the first stone (only returns)

Hopefully we can all go on in peace.  I'm sure at least some of you do not find this amusing - but rather an annoying diversion from the actual topic of Pinball.

Its funny how CGCC doesn't seem to have these 'flaming' threads all the time?  Lower traffic but I can't remember the last heated argument in the coin op section in well over a few years.

Let me fill you in on something Terrance your a non-factor, you don't matter, all I'm doing is trying to draw you out so you continue to shine in that oh so special way that you have be doing so well thus far.  All I'm doing is continuing to show everyone exactly the type of person you are so they can form their own opinions and based on everything I'm hearing from the local community thus far it's working perfectly.

Actually CGCC tends to police itself quite well.. we never delete threads, I think I've only removed an obscene picture or two (it's a family site).  We've locked a few.. but in general, the users don't tolerate much BS.  I dunno why it's so different... maybe less French people?    (just kidding)

Adam, thank you for allowing me to shine...  Have you guessed that I enjoy attention?  

I do also apprecaite you "Calling Me out".  Without the free advertising to potential customers on Maaca, at least 3 of my recent sales/trades wouldn't have happened.  Seams people just really don't care where a machine comes from (or the advice of the vocal clique) if they really want a machine they'll buy it.  So again, thanks for bringing all the free publicity to my sale/trade ads.  Seams now, whenever I post something - people want to look!!! Just to see what I'll say next. So I guess I have succeeded through your efforts (again I can't thank you enough). I will be sure to employ your publicity as best possible to sell/trade and buy machines from the same Maaca members your trying to protect.  (some super hero you are!)

On the other hand, we have SEVERAL accounts of your questionable actions clearly documented here @ maaca which is where the term 'TGLOVER'ing' originated.

What I fail to recognize here is why you seem to have such a problem with the use of the verb "TGLOVER'ing" when used in correct context?  You have defended your actions repeatedly in numerous threads in the past, and gone as far as to say people deserve the way you treat them. (paraphrasing)  If you have a problem with people adding this word to their vocabulary, you should have conducted yourself differently.

I think the term couldn't be more fitting, and the UD post is spot on.

There's a good reason I only "poke my head in" over here at MAACA, but I use CGCC as a home base. It's smaller, it's more local, doesn't crash every other day and has substantially less drama.

We have our share of "interesting" members (Hell, B1 is one of us  ) but somehow it all holds together quite nicely

You can't apply logic to that of the Troll Doug.  There is no logic in his attacks, he is just trying to be as inflammatory as possible.

Our actions are based on the facts while his are based in fantasy.  There really is no reason to try and respond to the baseless claims because it doesn't matter.  I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he decides to try and associate my name with Terrorism, Nazi's, Racism or some other inflammatory group just to try and draw the attention away from himself.

As far as I'm concerned he is running scared at this point, I mean look at his actions, he only posts in response to the term Tgloverd and his presence here can be boiled down to nothing more then a troll, it's only a matter of time before he fades away into the background and continues to be the insignificant spec that he is.

As for why this never happens on CGCC, I liken TGlover to Haybusa over on CGCC and I'm sure the CGCC guys will be able to see the parallel between the two.

Once you start banning people for somewhat personal reasons or simple dislike, you get in serious trouble. That's what has happened to MANY websites that have shut down with time.

To be honest, yes, I am dissapointed. Dissapointed that many choose to act like kids and tarnish this site. I am not impressed. And yes, it all may force me to take action, and many of you won't like it.

Ban him for his ethics, that fact that he has said he will take advantage of people if given the opportunity, and the fact that he offers nothing to this community or the hobby as a whole.  

Terrance has come out and personally said and I quote " If they chose not to ask questions, or research, Yes, I believe they deserve to be treated differently because they are lazy!"

Who cares about his rants, he actions and his words speak for themselves.  If this is the kind of person you think deserves to take part in this site Ian, then I guess I thought you had a very different vision for this place then you actually do.  

We need a Survivor type poll system to vote people off the island.... keep everyone on their toes.

There's no reason to ban anyone, in my opinion.. actions speak volumes.  Choose to buy from him, or don't.. makes no difference to me.  I know where I stand on the subject.
